KAJANG Oct 11 — The Prisons Department Malaysia is targeting two-thirds of eligible inmates to undergo rehabilitation in the community by 2030, to reduce overcrowding in prisons.

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 9 — The Malaysian Prisons Department will ensure that the incentives and allocations announced in Budget 2023 will be fully utilised to enhance and strengthen the department's correctional services.

KAJANG, July 25 — The Prisons Department aims to reduce the rate of recidivism, or repeated crimes, by ex-prisoners across the country to 10 per cent compared to the current 15 per cent.
